Ben Etchells wrote The Monster Song when he was ten years old. It was recorded for the first time in March 2003, on the night of his twenty-sixth birthday. Quite what Ben had been up to for the past sixteen years is not entirely clear. Suffice to say that he appeared on Top of the Pops, played the Reading Festival and sold a lot of records in Thailand. £ 6.99
